They cam be installed on the strap you order or you can purchase separately to use on any adjustable strap. Pad is easily moved or adjusted to the desired location on your shoulder. Once placed where you want the pad, it will remain there unless you move it - Pad will not shift or slide. It is designed to fit your strap perfectly as an add-on item to fit our straps or you can purchase one separately to fit any existing adjustable strap from 1/2 in. to 1.5 inches in width. After a short period of wear, the leather pad will mold to your shoulder for a perfect fit. How to purchase for existing adjustable bag strap: These pads are not intended to be sold separately for non-adjustable straps since they will not fit over the snap hooks of other straps.
